Our best-selling Kiln Dried Ash Firewood combines the perfect balance of heat, burn time, and ease of use. Our ash logs ignite easily, produce a vibrant, steady flame, and deliver long-lasting warmth. Perfect for stoves, fireplaces, wood burners, and outdoor use in firepits, chimineas, or campfires.
Experience the reliable performance of our Kiln Dried Ash Firewood, often regarded as the "king of firewood" because of its versatility and all-round consistent performance. It is designed to provide consistent, long-lasting heat with minimal effort. A darker, slightly chunkier hardwood, ash logs ignite easily and burn with a bright, ambient flame.
With its high energy density, ash firewood delivers a superior heating experience compared to other hardwoods. It has the dual benefit of burning for long at a steady rate while still being relatively easy to use â ideal for beginners and wood enthusiasts alike. It offers a combination of the aesthetic and easy-lighting properties of birch wood, while holding a longer burn duration, like oak.
Our premium ash logs are perfectly kiln dried to a moisture level below 20% for optimal burning efficiency and performance. Certified Ready to Burn, our ash firewood is guaranteed to burn cleanly, with minimal smoke and ash. Each ash log is approximately 25cm in length with a diameter range between 6 and 16cm. As a natural product, these sizes may vary slightly.
Ash firewood stands out as one of the best choices for heating due to its combination of efficiency, ease of use, and environmental benefits. Whether youâre looking to create a cosy atmosphere at home or heat your space effectively during winter, our Kiln Dried ash logs deliver consistent performance every time. Order your Kiln Dried Ash Firewood today and experience the difference in quality and warmth!
⢠Exceptional Heat Output: Ash firewood is renowned for its high energy content, producing steady and intense heat that lasts longer than most other woods. Each log burns efficiently, ensuring your home stays warm even on the coldest nights.
⢠Extended Burn Time: Thanks to its density and tightly packed fibres, ash burns slower than many hardwoods. This means fewer reloads and more time enjoying the warmth of your fire.
⢠Clean Burning with Minimal Smoke: Kiln dried ash produces very little smoke or creosote, making it safer for chimneys and reducing maintenance needs. Its clean burn also minimizes indoor air pollution.
⢠Easy to Light: Despite its density, ash firewood is beginner-friendly thanks to its ease of ignition. You can quickly start a steady flame without the need for excessive kindling or effort.
⢠Low Residue and Convenient Cleaning: Ash firewood leaves behind minimal ash residue after burning. This makes cleaning your fireplace or wood burner quick and hassle-free.
⢠Sustainable Sourcing: Our ash logs are responsibly sourced from sustainable forestry practices, ensuring youâre making an environmentally conscious choice while enjoying premium-quality firewood.

*The loose volume of firewood is what we are required by legislation to quote. It refers to the volume of logs supplied in a random pile or poured âlooseâ into a container. At Firewood.co.uk, our crates are hand-stacked to ensure that you get the best value for money. Find out more about this here.
Our crates are wrapped in a thin plastic sheet to maintain their dryness during shipping. To keep your firewood dry, store it in a sheltered storage space with plenty of air circulation. Make sure that your logs are kept off the ground so that moisture doesnât seep in. Click here for more firewood storage advice.
